For 2 weeks and then they are too long but it isn’t time to get the rest of your hair trimmed. So for the next 4-10 weeks they are just a mess. I love short hair but then I need it cut every 4 to 6 weeks so I usually end up growing it out so it only needs to be cut every 6 months. Sometimes I really understand Dolly and her wigs and wish I could wear one without sweating like crazy. Don’t even get me started on the wavy/curly that becomes a frizz bomb as soon as there is a hint of rain but cannot use any product on it without looking like Snape’s sister.

This is true. No exageration. No emphasise. No approximation trying to be funny. Truth.

Which animal is telling women to dye their hair? Get high lights or low lights. Possibly a gecko or a zebra?

Also which animal tells us to curl our straight hair or straighten our curly hair?

I’d like to have a meeting with these animals.

I would like to meet the one that convinces me to ruin my curls every 3 months by straightening and give it a few stern words.

I hate that people always talk about curls and how ‘jealous’ they are that I have them. It’s like, “bitches, you don’t know what curly hair is like!” Fucking straight people don’t understand how combing it makes it look worse, or how it ties itself in literal knots that make sailors jealous. My hair lady seems to be the only person to understand how freaking tough it is to maintain while long.

Oh yeah, it’s insanity and it can be so inexpensive and unfair. I finally found a wide tooth comb with the correct spacing and have settled on “once a week” for comb out, conditioning. I have nearly stopped washing with soap (just rinse).

Figuring out routine and products is nightmare. Then the voice “just do a blow out” wins. And it’s a week of frizz. Worse is getting compliments when it’s straight only.

Very accurate. I’ve finally reached that butt length “chop it all off” part of the circle again. I save a picture of “short hair” me just as a reminder not to go all the way. The crow can heck off. I like bangs.

Sometimes, I wish I was born as a woman. I get sexually harassed and put down anyway. But I like these kinds of problems better.

I had gorgeous golden locks as a kid. The moment I had to wash and comb it on my own, I got it all chopped. Sometime later, I started wondering how I’d look with longer hair. Grew it out. Not bad, but not worth the effort either. Chopped it all off again. I’m a guy btw.

I once accidentally shaved my head. That is how I learned I won’t look good if I ever go bald.

I shave my head year-round and I grow a long beard in the winter. I just can’t figure out how to handle the transition well. Like, here? Maybe here? Fade it? I dunno. A goatee solves the problem but nothing says bitter old dude like a baldheaded goatee.

Hey bangs are nice :( just not DIY bangs that stem from “ohmygod-my-hair-is-too-heavy-gtfo-my-face” energy, which is hard to resist.

Every time I get a haircut I like going shorter though, just a matter of convincing the stylist to let me get a mullet/undercut since they think it’ll “look like a bad haircut” and seem convinced it’ll ruin their reputation lol. Just let me indulge my trashy instincts please and thank you! 😂
