Actually protecting kids? Lol
I was sent to a military academy as a teen because I was getting into a lot of trouble. The “troubled teen” industry is exactly as bad as reporting over the last handful of years suggests. Violence was common. I don’t know of sexual abuse, but it wouldn’t surprise me. I wish I’d sued the school once I turned 18 before the statute of limitations expired. Not for money but to shut it down so other kids wouldn’t suffer.
The best part is how my mother always said I had to be exaggerating because I wanted to get out. It couldn’t possibly be that bad, she’d say.
Yes. To protect the Juvenile Justice Department from the “woke mob” who wants to see people, especially juveniles, treated and rehabilitated.
You must understand that providing these kids basic human rights and giving them a chance to change for the better will only leave less slaves for the ultra rich, and we cannot have that!
Texas: “We have to protect the kids by banning porn and sex ed!”
Also Texas:
No
Act? No. But a lot of legislators are going to stop by undocumented to see if it’s true.
I suspect that the answer to that question is “No”.
See: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betteridge’s_law_of_headlines
From the same state government warning migrants that they will be raped? I’m guessing SA is seen as more of a deterrent rather than a crime against humanity.

Sexual violence as a weapon. Now where have I heard that before?
“lol” said the Republicunt Texas Legislature, “LMAO”
No.
No US based govt at any level gives fuck #1 about kids. They fucking em and shooting them everywhere. All the time.
The Texas juvenile system has been a goddamn horror show for decades. It never gets fixed. Politicians don’t want to come out on soft on crime. Local communities don’t want to risk closing potential economic benefits like detention centers. More importantly most people are inherently evil and find pleasure at the idea of people being tormented.
Traumatized people are compliant. Traumatized with a rap sheet will work 3 minimum wage jobs while sleeping rough.
The writers of the report will probably, absolutely coincidentally of course, be found to have violated some law which requires their punishment to the fullest extent of the law.
Oh yeah, Texas gives a rat’s ass about kids.
Will investigate it’s self and find no wrong doing
