Been coming to terms that I became old lately lol. Weird how it sneaks up on you. You are young, get busy a couple years pass and ok you are a young adult. Then time seems to speed up and before you know it you are exhausted and old living in what was recently the way off future.

Posts like that encourage extremism. It pushes the lemmy.ml users who are normal out while angering and reinforcing the identity of the ones who are extreme.

Also encourages an us and them mindset. Which grows both the us and them sides as people are drawn into it being previously indifferent or unaware.

Call out the individuals or behavior not their entire community or demographic.

That and long distance travel are my concerns. Will I have to keep stopping for long charging sessions. Will there even be a charger on the route at all.

A third concern is how safe the lithium batteries are for charging, it would have to be inside my garage that is on the 1st floor. I guess it’s probably not too much of a concern but I worry about even leaving small lithium batteries charging unattended.

I don’t know anyone in real life who uses it. Even before Musk bought it out. I’m getting older so checked with gen z in my family and they don’t use it either.

Even if they were amazing, it would still be worth using Firefox instead to suppport an alternative to chromium.
