Snoop Dogg’s use for the lighter is already covered by “and more” before it gets to Willie Nelson. What is the “so much more” he’s doing with a lighter that doesn’t involve grills, candles, or smoking?

Willie Nelson is known for using his for an extended quantity. Which is where the joke is, here. Snoop is known for smoking weed, and Willie Nelson is known for smoking a substantial quantity for longer than Snoop has been alive. For comparison, Snoop is 52. Willie is 90.

      I hope this helped.

Probably to generate discussion about what the “and more” could be, just like it’s doing. Proper ad camp, Bic.

I understand what they’re insinuating but won’t any regular lighter work for that purpose? What’s so special about this design?

For when part of the herb that’s loaded in your pipe doesn’t get ignited by capillary action and you need to put the flame directly to it to get it to ignite. Since you’re trying to manipulate the position of the flame it’s easier for your fingers to get in the way. It’s more of an edge case and you can just get better at using a normal lighter, so I’d say this is just for viral marketing if it’s real

edit: and djeep lighters are better for this anyway

When the herb in the bowl is deep, gotta get the flame deeper, so either get gud, or burny fingy.

Like, people have been using regular lighters for this for forever, so it’s not a necessity, just easier.

This lighter has a stem to keep the flame from your thumb, but it isn’t obnoxiously long.

I’ll note the Bic brand is not refillable. Look for a little port on the bottom. I’ve seen some at Ace hardware.

    Chillie Nelson, ma bro!

Btw yesterday I learned who designed the ubiquitous bic lighter: Louis Lucien Lepoix, a guy who pretty much shaped the aesthetic zeitgeist of the early cold war. The more you know…

I genuinely don’t know what market this is for.

Cigarettes don’t benefit from this, and we already have long ones for lighting the stove or wood burner.

    What’s this stubby one for?

I actually use one of these for work. It fits comfortably in my pocket and don’t burn my fingers when I have to light up a bunch of sterno burners.
