First of all, I’ve been an Unaffiliated Independent since I first registered to vote in 1977. I think ALL political parties should be abolished.

The DNC has always given lip service to stuff like taxing the rich and getting money out of politics, but when they are in a position to actually do something about it, they literally don’t do ANYTHING about it. And it has been like that for the last 50 years.

Talk is cheap, and MAGAs may be the biggest illustration of that by far, but Dems don’t have anywhere to hide, either. I’m looking for the candidate towards the left who will WALK it like they talk it.

The DNC haven’t had more than 48 senators in 10 years and shortly before that when they had 60, only with caucus, for about a month of congress in session they passed medicaid expansion to tens of millions of Americans. If it weren’t for the Independent Lieberman they would have passed singlepayer.

You seem to really admire MAGAs for walking and talking unfathomable cruelty and destruction on basis of racial and theological supremacy.

It’s core policy platform, page 48 of their official manifesto and it’s been publicly stated by pretty much every DNC to reverse Citizens United. They’re also the only party to try to pass any antibribery and anticorruption laws in the last couple of decades, such was the case with HR 1 For the People Act.

No no. Politicans still want all that lovely money.

The dems put forward the proposal on page 48 to say that they want transparency, because that fucks over the Republicans more than them.

Not really, it’s the party’s core platform. If they had 60 senators it would be done. If they had even 51 we would have at least seen minor progress but instead they have 45 now and not more than 48 in over 10 years.

I don’t think you can earnestly say that with the chicinery that kept Bernie from tying the nomination in favor of the heir apparent in Clinton (Bernie and AOC are pulling huge crowds in trump country). They again pulled that shit with having Biden run twice when he was obviously infirmed. He only stepped aside for the young after he did that disastrous debate. Lastly, the gamesmenship the democrats pull on their own members in congress?

The party establishment is focused on dying on the hill of placating to the rich. That is fundamentally against progress. Hence the diet fascism stance the dems take. We we have 2 right-wing parties in America.

*Edit: FYI, capitalists love fascism. Its why the richest man ever throws Seig Heils.

Bernie Sanders lost the 2016 primary by 3 Million 700 Thousand individual votes, which he was invited to participate in as a 3rd party by the DNC leadership. He lost the 2020 primary to Biden by a lot fuckin more, too.

No. I don’t know where they find folks like you, but holy shit. Yes, the DNC is better than the RNC, by a lot. But, both of them suck the dick of the corporate douchebag. The RNC just has little pompoms with “cocksucker” printed on them and likes to wear makeup when big daddy richie blows a load in their face, while the Democrats pretend to wince.

They both suck. Republicans just need to end first.

I think it’s a bit worse than that. While I think at least a few people are actually ignorant, I think there is a well funded and organized campaign to keep the DNC out of power, I think some of it is from within the USA but a lot of it is from Russia and China.

You have to support your side if you want people to vote for them. Trump won because almost 9 million less people voted for Harris 2024 than Biden 2020. 8 million people were dissuaded by comments like “dnc is diet fascism.”

It’s a genocide, no matter how frequently netanyahu’s simps keep trying to downplay it as a war.

And centrist democrats care about it a great deal. They were so devoted to it that they were willing to lose to trump instead of telling netanyahu no.

No? It’s hypocritical for Dems to demand voters give them money while telling people they want money out of politics. Personally I’d make it so politicians are paid the minimum wage of the state they represent and aren’t allowed to take bribes, donations, gifts from corporations or CEOs, and election funds are a pooled resource where everyone running for any party, big or small, has access to the same amount. Anyone found getting extra funds is immediately kicked out and banned from holding any level of government office, including even being a town mayor.

The Dems are the conservatives, they want the status quo with maybe some mild reforms.

The Republicans apparently are the radicals, they want to change society (in a direction that I think is completely stupid, but still)
