The DNC has always given lip service to stuff like taxing the rich and getting money out of politics, but when they are in a position to actually do something about it, they literally don’t do ANYTHING about it. And it has been like that for the last 50 years.
Talk is cheap, and MAGAs may be the biggest illustration of that by far, but Dems don’t have anywhere to hide, either. I’m looking for the candidate towards the left who will WALK it like they talk it.
The DNC haven’t had more than 48 senators in 10 years and shortly before that when they had 60, only with caucus, for about a month of congress in session they passed medicaid expansion to tens of millions of Americans. If it weren’t for the Independent Lieberman they would have passed singlepayer.

They’re also the only party to try to pass any antibribery and anticorruption laws in the last couple of decades, such was the case with HR 1 For the People Act.

I think it’s a bit worse than that. While I think at least a few people are actually ignorant, I think there is a well funded and organized campaign to keep the DNC out of power, I think some of it is from within the USA but a lot of it is from Russia and China.

Anyone found getting extra funds is immediately kicked out and banned from holding any level of government office, including even being a town mayor.
