Netanyahu claimed foreign leaders who “public condemn us privately thank us. They tell me how much they value Israel’s superb intelligence services that have prevented, time and again, terrorist attacks in their capitals.” He did not say which countries’ leaders had privately thanked him.

“So Benjamin, are those leaders in the room with us right now?”

Even the US pulled their senior diplomats who’d normally be there and sent the interns instead lmao

He’s not trying to say that their Intel service has helped. He’s trying to emphasize “privacy” and “Israeli intelligence service” to remind people that Mossad has dirt on them, without literally saying that, imo

It took them a really long time to realize. I remember getting ridiculed by dems last year for criticizing Israel.

That’s not all Americans just the people they pay to represent them. Also I think the other half remained seated, or refused to show up.

When everyone else is willing to get up and leave sitting instead of standing kind of doesn’t hit as hard.

Hey he’s not a terrorist! He’s a war criminal and a genocider. Please.

Israel does fit the definition of a terrorist state, especially since they often admit to terror attacks they either sponsor or commit themselves. Also they had a self-described (and convicted) terrorist as a leader for a while.

He is absolutely a terrorist also. He fits every definition of one.

Side point but where does this “one-upper” tendency come from? Just let people describe things in terms that make sense to them. This isn’t twitter, there’s no reason to contradict them.

I would think that genocide is some order of magnitude worse than terrorist (which is obviously very shitty to begin with), so I would like to make it clear that Bibi is somewhere at the top of my personal ranking of shit people.

But terrorist is fine (if I may say so), too.

He is responsible for a genocide in Gaza and possibly in the West Bank but also a terrorist in the other countries they are attacking like the pager attacks that killed children and other innocents in collateral damage.

It is just different levels of specificity really. I found the meme and didn’t think to edit it. I think terrorist would be applicable especially for the pager attack, Doha strike on negotiators, attacks of Iranian scientists, etc. Maybe you should look up the Mossad use of terrorism if you are not aware.

Was about to bring up the pagers cause that’s literal state sanctioned terrorism any way you look at it. It’s still surprisingly unsurprising that we’re cool with it.

I was wondering what’s the right word? It’s bizarre, it’s like genocides happen without a cause à la “thousands of people have been taken in a genocide” - oh well these things happen you know, no one to blame 🤷‍♂️

Maybe cuz folks who’ve used it haven’t been eloquent or something? Seriously not sure here, again USA has committed countless crimes and def has Ku Klux Klan in its history

If you are paying taxes, you support it whether you wish to or not. Don’t you love living in a great democracy?
