White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Monday drew a hard line against quickly blaming the government in the midst of a tragedy – in this case, the deadly floods in Texas.

“Many Democrat elected officials are trying to turn this into a political game; it is not,” Leavitt said, amid suggestions linking the tragedy to Trump’s cuts to the National Weather Service.

She added: “I just do think those comments are depraved and despicable, especially when so many Americans are mourning the loss of their children.”

Less than 24 hours before Leavitt’s comments, though, it was her boss, Trump, who was levying blame – not on the incumbent government, but the previous one.

“If you look at that water situation, that was really the Biden setup,” Trump said.

Trump quickly clarified that he wasn’t actually blaming Biden – he cited the historic nature of the floods – but there is no question he was attempting to shift potential responsibility for any government missteps to his predecessor.

It’s the narcissist prayer, every time…

What step are we on now… it’s not my fault… if it was it’s not that big of a deal…

Ahh yes, Squeaky Clean Donald, never his fault anything happens. Who ate the blueberry pie? Donald, his face covered in blueberry remains, immediately says “Joe Biden did it!”. Who set the house on fire? Donald, gas can in hand, blames Hillary. Who killed the goose that laid the golden egg? Donald, a bloody mess, says the Democrats must’ve done it.

      TRAITOR/Felon/Rapist.

Never forget that he is the most prolific Traitor in American history, worse than ALL other American traitors, COMBINED.

      TRAITOR should always come first.

If your admin still isn’t in control after six+ months, you’re admitting that you’re incompetent.

      Oh, sweet innocent child.

Back after 9/11/2001 the GOP pushed two ideas at once. First, that Bill Clinton had missed numerous opportunities to go after bin-Ladn, and that Bush Jr. had only been in office for nine months and couldn’t have know what a threat bin-Ladn was.

The Bush administration blamed EVERYTHING on Clinton, until he got elected and Hurricane Katrina hit, with the most astonishingly incompetent governmental response to a natural disaster in history.

At some point, Bush tried to blame Clinton for it, after two Bush elections, and all of America laughed it him. It was quite clear that blaming a natural disaster in president who had been out of office for more than a term, was considered pathetic by EVERYONE. Bush never got away with blaming Clinton again.

If Hurricane Katrina had hit before the 2004 election, Bush would have lost.

It is up to us to tie EVERY failed policy to HitlerPig, no exceptions. Don’t let them blame their standard Democrat boogeymen, make them own it all.

It’s just emotions. The words conservatives pick are just to satisfy their emotions. Facts don’t matter. They are like children. Failures of people. They shouldn’t be allowed to make decisions of import.

Zero accountability. That’ll be the hallmark of this disaster of an administration. The buck stops here, when it’s really a dollar. Otherwise, it’s not my fault.

If you want to find out who’s to blame for a tragedy, you need look no further than who’s saying “don’t make it about politics.” They know.

To do otherwise would require an act of cognitive reasoning. This Cheeto-in-charge isn’t capable of that.
