6·1 year agoThere are a handful of options if you’re looking for a tweaked version of the YouTube app (no jailbreak needed) with enhanced options (blocking ads, skipping sponsored segments, allowing downloads, enabling PiP)
I personally use YouTube Reborn Plus https://github.com/arichorn/YouTubeRebornPlus
As for loading the IPA onto my iPhone I use Sideloadly. https://sideloadly.io
I know a lot of others use AltStore. https://altstore.io
Keep in mind, if you have a paid Apple Dev account like myself you only have to load the app on your device once a year. But, if you have a free account you’ll need to do this weekly. That being said, that is why so many users prefer AltStore, it automates the process to ensure you don’t hit that weekly threshold.

3·1 year agoM3 Pro has 150GB/s bandwidth vs 200 for the M2 Pro. I think that can be explained by using 3 6GB/12GB modules for the RAM vs 4 on the M2.
The M3 Max is listed as “up to" 400GB/s, where the M2 Max doesn’t have that qualifier. The 14 core I think is always using 3 24GB/32GB wider modules for 300GB/s, the 16 core is always using 4 for 400GB/s.
Both Apple and myself would say otherwise.

Their data isn’t going to the US though. In response to a 2017 Chinese law, Apple agreed to move its Chinese customers’ data to China and onto computers owned and run by a Chinese state-owned company. Chinese government workers physically control and operate the data center.

If you’re looking for a very similar experience to YouTube re-Vance’d you should try YouTubeRebornPlus. It’s a modification to the official YouTube app with all the features one would expect, No Ads, Skipping Sponsor Spots, proper PIP support. Similarly to side loading APKs on Android you can side load IPAs on iOS. It’s not as simple, but it’s not difficult either.
