If moderators want to turn a subreddit private, they will now need permission from Reddit.

Was on old, when the site popped up a dialog asking me to download the app, or skip to the front page. No option to continue. No thanks.

  Assuming you are on a phone, viewing desktop version bypasses the app nag.
