Wait until the GOP says children need to watch heterosexual cis porn at kindergarten to « un-groom » them from wokeness.

Those bastards have no sense of shame

You joke, but the gay/trans conversion “therapy” industry, which people like these no doubt support, is rife with cases of sexual abuse against children and teens. The stories from victims are honestly nauseating.

I saw this show on Broadway and would not classify it as family friendly or aimed at kids. 90s cartoons were more subtle in their cussing and sexual comments. Fantastic show I would recommend again and again.

That does not justify what they did though. She may rock the dress, but take your horny selves home. Classic GOP hypocrisy.

Even in that one pixel pic of just blurry faces, you can exactly recognize the kind of smirk she’s wearing on her shameless face.

Am I the only one out of the loop? I don’t recognise anybody in this picture, and I don’t know what happened. All I can see is some guy waving a hand in front of someone with a very nice cleavage.

Wasn’t the trouble some people had with the drag queen shows the dances? I don’t know the situation in the US(?), but that’s what some people disliked about some of the shows in Germany.

Here is a video of one of these shows that was a program for kindergarden kids: https://youtu.be/p2zsZHb_Y7E?feature=shared

It’s dishonest to leave it out of the discussion when people didn’t have a problem with the clothing in the first place.

I am no pro in pedagogy or whatever. Not sure if that’s super harmful or whatever tale the alt right tried to spin. But it’s definitely not just some people with a cleavage or other types of sexy clothes.

What? The theater was not filled with kids. There were adults sitting around Lauren, not just kids only. Can you imagine how weird that would be if Lauren and her boytoy were the only adults in that theater. I am not saying there were no kids when it happened, but it definitely was not filled with kids. That is stupid

Is Lemmy really that big that it honestly matters?

I also think you might be confused about what instance you’re on.

Keeping things in their respective communities does help people filter what they want to see.

I, for one, like to see “haha that’s funny” posts more than “oh look the bad guys are bad” posts, which is why I peruse this community and not political memes.

I’m not trying to minimod and create rules that don’t exist in the community, though. I’m just expressing my opinion. You don’t have to listen.

Also, what does this have to do with instance? Nothing’s stopping you from posting on another instance’s community, right? Federation is nice like that. Or did you mean that lemmy.ml is a political instance? If so, I didn’t know that.

Just scroll past it, its not hard. Lemmy is already struggling with content, we don’t need people feeling some type of way about how it’s posted.

I mentioned instance because they’re from Lemm.ee and the community they are referencing isn’t a relevant thing on the instance where they’re commenting and where this is posted.

Lemmy is already struggling with content

People not being able to filter their content is just going to cause users to leave, making the issue worse. If I wanted to be bombarded by political virtue signalling I’d just go back to Twitter.

In front of an audience of kids? Nobody knew until footage was combed through. Ironically, the news of this is the only reason anybody knows about it at all. Nobody in person saw a thing. Not exactly the same thing as sex in front of an audience of children.
