I did laugh at this meme, then but I came in here to make sure there was a warning.
Doing this is an awful way to spend a month in the hospital, get permanently disgusted, and possibly die.

Pretty sure that oil is fairly cool as well, because the oil usually explodes out not just bubbles

I know this is a bad idea but I want to know parameters. Is ONE ice cube okay? Or say 2 ounces of ice, but not 3? How big could the splatter get? Could I make a party game out of putting a fryer in a driveway and having guests throw ice cubes at it?
For those that don’t know, there’s no oil in those fryers. Soap and water? Check. Probably some hefty degreaser. That’s how you clean the fryers, and then cool off the water so it isn’t boiling, and can be drained.
The doctors at the emergency room and the burn victims hospital nurses/doctors: “Ok! Can you tell us how that happened?”
If the victims are still burning, you’ve taken them to the hospital too quickly. Please extinguish all open flames before the patient enters the building.
“I’m sorry, sir, but this has been a non-smoking location since '95. You’re going to have to stop, drop, and roll for me before we can wheel you in.”
“Nope, nope, not yet. I still see a couple of embers; get back down on the ground and keep rolling till you’re fully extinguished.”
