I’m shouldn’t have ice cream due to my Type 2 diabetes, but once in a while, I stop at Mc Donalds and get myself a McFlurry with M&M’s. I get a bit sick later, but I find it worth it.

Lactose intolerance so same as you op. Not so much sick but I get the runs.
Eating sugar is fine with a bit of nutrition juggling when you have diabetes. The ‘you can’t have sugar’ thing is hopelessly outdated. When you eat lactose when you’re lactose intolerant no amount of nutrition juggling will help.
Get lactase pills.
I have them but where is the fun in that?
Fun = enjoying ice cream without diarrhea afterwards
You have an odd definition of fun mate. But to each their own.
Your definition of fun apparently = diarrhea after eating ice cream
More like the thrill of will I make it to the bog. 😁
