Why is it so terrifying for people to have a modicum of compassion and empathy for all sentient life, or if not that at least human life. Having compassion and empathy is not endorsement, is not supporting their cause, does not reduce you.
I celebrate Kirk’s murder precisely because I have empathy. I am fully aware of the harm Kirk and his ilk have caused. How many women were sexually assaulted because their rapists were motivated by Kirk? How many minorities were discriminated against or had hate crimes perpetrated against them because of Charlie ‘I Think Empathy Isn’t Real’ Kirk? It is impossible to have empathy for people and not hate Kirk’s guts.
