    I had to take a break from lemmy for a few days due to shit like this. The reporting is fine but I’ve had it with every third story being yet more proof of the dumbfuckery that is Trump.

    This will be the last time (for a while anyway) that I acknowledge even reading another stupid headline about him.

      My understanding is that this community is US news, not world news. I really hate that it was set up this way, especially on lemmy.world, but that is why most stories here are about Trump. His reign affects every news story in the US, as the context of living under fascism implicitly colors all of them.
