Government sites are terrible, am I right? This should get you to the right place and describe the consequences.
Edit: re-reading my comment, I think I came off too aggressive, so for that I’d like to apologize. I hope your have a great day!
It is not required to be under oath, if found lying to Congress. Plenty of people have been prosecuted by Congress, because they lied to Congress. It’s all over US History. Relevant code
This is one thing that I’ve come to terms with. There is no justice in the world. They will release it in accordance to their agenda. They will not release them, if it harms the party. So, expect a shit storm, in which files are heavily redacted and Trump is no where to be found. The world is on fire and we are self-immolating in the flames. It’s game over. They won. I’m done hoping for justice and peace. They will only radicalize more people, for them and against. They will foment more violence, because violence requires more violence to keep order. That’s the end game. We’re fucked.
Eisenhower was too busy building the Interstate system. Damn you, Eisenhower.
They wanted to play placating politics and lost it all. Don’t wanna alienate those MAGA voters!
Exactly this, I was horrified when we had our first measles case in our state. Luckily, we were two days away from our MMR for our youngest. So, we just waited and didn’t leave the house. But this right here, is why EVERYONE WHO CAN SHOULD BE VACCINATED. Those who can’t will suffer, and they’ve done nothing wrong.
You’re not wrong, but you’re ignoring the fact, that that’s where we are. The system has broken down. Political hits are the norm now. The most violent party will win, and arguably has already won. I don’t want violence anymore than the next person, but misrepresentation, violent rhetoric, and easy access to firearms have brought us to this point. The only thing that people are angry about, is the left started shooting back. You can only fire so many shots before people start feeling like they have nothing to lose. And that’s where we are.
I, for one, can’t wait to watch the latest season of The Gilded Age on Paramount Max+
Yup, that’s why I said it’s heavily regulated. Outside of former military, the only people who really own firearms, are avid hunters. And even then, they’re very particular as to how they transport and carry them. I think it’s a model the US could embrace. But that would also require rectifying underlying societal issues such as, inequality, healthcare, etc.
Where’s the J6 picture for comparison?
Sure, I know Switzerland does. I’m sure many other countries do. The only difference is, it’s heavily regulated.
What’s ironic is, this is may be the type of firearm that killed Charlie Kirk. Nobody wants to do anything about the violence in this country. Nobody wants to enact strict firearms control. We are an ouroboros of violence now. Can’t wait to see who rules the gilded ruins of our country. I’m just so sick of all the violence.
I was just about to say, it’s about to get more and more frequent.
Oh, damn. Thank you, my data was outdated then. I guess I’ll have to move things to Qobuz, which was a pain last time I transferred a library.
Roe was ways based upon a “right to privacy” in the Due Process Clause. That is, in and of itself, a terrible argument with regards to the constitution. It even laid out groundwork pseudo legislation to dictate when abortions could be preformed. It was getting the right answer with the wrong work. It’s not well substantiated without interpretation. It should have been codified a dozen times over, by Congress. It wasn’t, and conservatives attacked it, knowing they could win if they had conservative justices. Because it’s all based on interpretation.
This is different, fundamentally, because it’s clearly laid out in the constitution. Signed, sealed, delivered. I’m all for hating our current SCOTUS system and justices, but this is not something to be concerned about. More pressing, should be the war crimes and treatment of immigrants.
There are several reports, of several lawyers, indicating that this was the court stepping into legislation. That’s not the Court’s job, they should have directed congress to amend the constitution to ensure a right to privacy for all Americans. Something we do not have. But I am unsure, how that would have played out.
Heads will roll. We are quickly approaching revolution
Cool, I’ll still be using Tidal, as they pay their artists the most, I believe.
I feel like this is mostly fluff. 404media had a better report on this.
It’d be cool to know what facts he “misrepresented” on his form. Feels very suspicious that there’s no information regarding that in the article. Makes me lean toward kangaroo court. I mean, I was already leaning there, but still.
