Water supply is even more important than have a reliable shit hole. Without water our entire existence goes out the window. No flushing toilets, no washing hands, no drinking water, no cooking, no cleaning, and no bathing. I’ve had power, sewage, and water be unavailable several times. Water is by far the worst. I’d take a week long power outage or a few days without sewage over water being out for a single day.

This happened to my family. Our first was all around pretty easy. Our second was absolutely insane. She gave my wife and I PTSD; we felt like abuse victims. She screamed 90% of her whole existence until she was 2. Any noise above a whisper would wake her up. This kid would break all parents. We tried everything to make it easier and literally nothing worked. She is the most intense child I’ve ever met, and she is cute as all hell. Love her to death, but my god is she difficult and stubborn.

We started watching TV with headphones because we were so scared of waking her up during nap time. Screamed for hours if she woke up, nothing could fix it.

We are very aware of the long term damage it may have caused. Hoping that us not being dumber than a bag of rocks and getting her vaccinated now helps.

I work in supply chain and manufacturing now lol. Tesla is a major fuck up of a company.

Our youngest had some form of measles before she could get the MMR vaccine. Wildest part was taking her to the hospital and no one knowing wtf to do. The doctors all basically shrugged and said good luck. She seems fine now 3 years later, but her immune system seems wildly fucked up. Like totally fine to some sicknesses and horrible responses to others.

Most of the southeast in the US is in an early housing market collapse. New homes cost less than used inventory, which is a horrible sign. Inventory and time on market are also creeping up.

People calling you a nazi sympathizer don’t know that most people who actively participated as members of the German nazi party were ‘normal’ people. They lived normal lives, followed the law, and existed in normal society. In reality, most people supporting our current nazi problems will need to be deprogrammed and forcibly pulled back into an accepting society. Its what happened in Germany, not many nazis were charged with crimes.

I had a Nanny who was shocked to learn she missed out on extra pay because of Republicans killing that part of a prior tax bill. She voted for donald every time she could. She was shocked to learn about dems infrastructure bills. I felt like I was informing an idiot what the world looked like. Republican voters are completely misinformed about reality, no degree of “they should do this” will fix the voters being misinformed.

On a personal note. I let her life fall apart after donald won. She was struggling financially and I could’ve helped her, but I didn’t. She should’ve pulled harder on her bootstraps.

Our grocery budget is up at least 50% in the last few months. Food is becoming stupid expensive.

Similar for me. Neighbors husband figured out we were helping move his now ex-wife out secretly. He came back while we were at her new place and destroyed a bunch of her stuff. He was yelling so loud I could hear it inside my house with headphones on. Called as I was walking over to see wtf was going on.

She fortunately did divorce him and is fighting for full custody of her kids. He’s still an abusive liar, which most people can’t see. He’s a GP in a small town and his nice guy facade is thick.

If you’re wealthy enough to waste a lot of money on a fridge you aren’t buying one of these abominations. Its going to be a built in like sub-zero.

I honestly believe these fridges are not being bought in large quantities and are part of the tech bubble.
