173·3 months agoCan we stop calling it a “mission”? This is an expensive vacation for billionaires, not a scientific endeavor.
I’m not sure but I think some of these drugs can make permanent damage.
Obviously survival remains the topmost concern, but thinking about side effects sounds like the logical next step now that we’ve made tremendous progress with survival.

I don’t understand why they keep targeting art. Wouldn’t smashing car windows (for example!) make more sense?
Another example of a multi-billion dollar company that doesn’t curate their products/services. Costs too much money they would only profit 234 billion instead of 244 billion.
In the long term it’s a terrible strategy. People will lose confidence and stop shopping there. I’ve almost stopped and I know I’m not the only one.
Not that most executives care about long term…
372·1 year agoWhat makes the problem hard is that there are a lot of dickheads on both sides, not just the governments. You can be an oppressed victim AND a dick. These things are not mutually exclusive, unfortunately.

I don’t buy on Amazon anymore. Not only to they treat their employees like crap, but also it’s harder and harder to find quality stuff on their platform. Fake reviews are a huge problem.
