For the nukes dropped to explode? I dont think its a good idea… but the nukes dropped accidentally didnt explode, which greatly reduces the effect.
Thats mostly because the vast majority of IR lights and led’s also emit visable light. To get an ir light to not also emit within the visable light spectrum is much more expensive.
Love the star trek memes. And like all things linux, i understand like 20% and the rest goes over my head
In order of worst to bad…
My cat of 14 years had to be put down, my parents gifted my sister nearly a half million dollars with the reasoning that she needs it more (with the " dont worry, we will even it out later"), my wifes mom semi disowned her ( not sure exactly what this situation is) and wifes dad is playing favorites with step kids.
“They” as in apple lost?
What were the penalties?
Lightning and thunder. Awe inspiring and yet terrifying at the same time.
Hmm. Cant see the album on sync.
The problem IS the centralized authority. Can you forever trust a government to not artificially inflate or deflate the value of a currency? The whole point was to have a system with no single authority. No single point of failure.
It is, however, not perfect. The volatility, limited number of transacrions per second , and reliance on an incredible amount of energy expense were the largest of these when the original bitcoin concept was created. Some of these issues have solutions, but its still an evolving technology.
I viewed it as more of a donation to see the stupid meme on Nascar or other dumb sponsorships.
Thats rough… the only thing i use Spotify for is Sam Harris’s podcast, “making sense”. It doesnt have any adds. None at all. Not even read by the host homself. However you do need to pay for the service. I would still recommend it to anyone though.
I can think of an old great daily news show that still doesnt have a permanent host… please!!!..
Or run for president.
Wait… theres ads on podcasts even as a premium subscriber?
Numbers are not the most important moral decider in war. By your logic, the US or Canada would have been the worst major player in WW2. Intent matters and moral values matter.
Kinda like the extermination of a people including taking hostages, torturing hostages, raping hostages, and executing hostages?
Two wrongs dont make a right, but Israel is by no means worse than HAMAS.
UPGRAYEDD, spelled thusly, always gets his money.
I mean… if you really cared, its a few hour drive to a state where you can legally buy them. Its not a large burden, and could be done in an afternoon.
Edit: i like the downvotes this comment gets, as if its some sort of morality claim. Its just a fact. Im not personally pro gun, however i dont think the solution is an easy all guns are bad all the time. Its a very complex issue in america.
However, i am very against political theater, California isnt going to to fix gun problems unless they can outlaw handguns, which are used in more than 90% of all gun related crimes. Just like they arnt going to fix water shortages by stopping people watering their lawns or washing cars when around 95% or the water usage is corporations.
Netflix’s glass onion may end up a prediction on the level of Idiocracy
Also worth noting in the case of uber, even if price is equal with taxis, the experience is much better. Nicer cars, better drivers and much easier app use. Even at price parity, its a very superior product in most cases.
Property tax is alreadly locked in California.
Prop 13 is one of the main reasons i moved out of CA
