Pretty sure the prime drink is owned by amazon.
Was it BMW that was trying to charge a subscription for seat warmers and automatic car starters that were built into the car already? They got serious push back and rolled back fast. Haven’t followed in a while wouldn’t be surprised if they were back to that model already.
I don’t think a forced change like that is really necessary The only reason it really stopped in the first place is because corn is so subsidized by the government that it is cheaper and less work to just keep expanding land and planting more corn fields. Stop the outrageous subsidizing of corn and corn based products and it would make sense for farmers to rotate/sustain crop fields and diversify crops.

Also a steep learning curve is the opposite of something being quickly mastered
That’s the thing. People have to keep voting forever to keep this from coming into effect, but they only need it to pass a vote once for it to be enacted for basically ever.
Not sure if they will act as fast or have as much authority, but when I had mold issues that my landlord/management company was dragging their feet on, I went to the department of health for my town. Wouldn’t you know I had a department of health member and the building owners, not the management company, at my apartment the next day to inspect and fix everything.
