    I could never get into Halloween because I grew up in western NY and it wasn’t unusual to have a ton of snow by the end of October. Hard to to be excited about a costume when it has to be covered by winter clothing. I think the very last time I went trick or treating, I just threw a sheet over me and my snow suit and called it good lol.

        Are you saying christmas is not a candy holiday? I’m too old to go trick-or-treating, but I’m certainly not too old to buy all the tasty christmas sweets!

          I see it more as a cookies and chocolate holiday, but there are certainly a supporting cast of candies.

          But with halloween, it’s the main attraction.

            Where I live, cakes aren’t really a christmas thing … I suppose cookies might not really be “candy”, but they’re definitely sweets.
