But the world as it is has everyone essentially belonging to “people” who would be oppressed if they chose to move someplace else in the world, they just don’t build their entire identity around it. I mean, look at the Canaanites, they even have religions that completely sanctify their genocide in their scriptures.
Well, my people have been oppressed for over 2000 years, but I’m not counting that since I haven’t been alive for most of it.
