Tesla falls on long wait for Cybertruck payoff, hefty price tag / Tesla shares fell more than 3% on Friday::Tesla’s pricier-than-expected Cybertruck pickup, which offers driving ranges that fell well short of what CEO Elon Musk had promised, has deeply disappointed some but fascinated others with its futuristic, SUV-like feel.
I think I’m going to cancel my Cybertruck order. Seems like quality is going to be a big issue, too.
I have to ask, what about that thing is appealing to you? Genuinely curious.
I’ve wanted one too. For me it has a weird sorta retro scifi feel. Like, if a Dolorian was a truck. Mixed with a splash of Night Rider. Even some elements of Tron (the hard lines/angles).
I’d rather have a cross between the Delorean and an El Camino. The cybertruck is not the style of truck I’d want.
