Mine loves to lick and seems to always forget that she can’t lick socks and gets so mad when she tries and snaggles her tongue on them.

My cat is obsessed with sniffing my shoes whenever I leave them out. I think this falls in line with cat behavior.

They are savoring the unique bouquet of your feet.

True, she is probably smelling all the interesting things I stepped on when I went out.

Cats like smells, especially of their familiar humans.

It’s actually helpful when I need my cat to be one place instead of another, like when I’m changing my bedsheets. I’ll just toss some worn clothes on the floor away from the bed, and she’ll quickly go sit on top of them instead. That way I don’t have to deal with her jumping into the sheets as I’m putting them on the bed.

This makes a lot of sense. I have smelly feet and a sweaty back, one of my cats loves to rub all over my shoes & backpack.

I’ll come back from the gym with a sweaty bra smelling like I don’t shower for 3 weeks and my cat will go insane! No catnip does what sweaty really smelly clothes does to my cat. I once try to take it from her and that was the only time she ever hissed to me. After that i got the message
