If this is true or not is almost irrelevant, these people exist, male and female.

I might have become one of them if not for just sheer luck.
Neurodiversity can have all kinds of effects and not being able to connect with people can be one of them.

Just be kind, to your fellow humans, not everyone can do what they want to do.

          Here ya go: https://www.healthline.com/health/pregnancy/can-pregnant-women-eat-sushi

          tl;dr:

“Undercooked or raw fish increases the risks of exposure to certain types of bacteria during pregnancy and is more likely to contain bacteria and parasites,” says Dr. Lisa Valle, DO, OB-GYN at Providence Saint John’s Health Center.

Listeria, a bacteria that causes listeriosis, is a type of food poisoning that can pose a serious health risk for you and your baby. And pregnant women are at a higher risk of getting listeriosis.

In addition to vomiting and diarrhea, it can cause preterm labor, stillbirth, and miscarriage. Additionally, if a baby is born with listeriosis, there can be problems with their kidneys and heart, as well as infections of the blood or brain.

To help prevent listeriosis, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends that pregnant women avoid eating sushi made with raw fish, among other foods like hot dogs, lunch meats, and unpasteurized milk.

I guess you could probably have like vegetable tempura or avacado rolls or something, but depending on how it’s prepared it might still be around the raw fish.

Holy fuck. Do you really think sushi is as dangerous as alcohol to a fetus?

        The two aren’t even close.

People try to avoid known risk factors when pregnant, some stuff really is bad to roll the dice on. A lot of newly pregnant people also go overboard avoiding stuff that’s classified as dangerous. It’s not an unusual thing to say.
