Whew, thought I was the only one with a personal deviled eggs batch.
As my dad always used to say to me I am actually a guest in his house so I guess that means I can have deviled eggs 🥰
Just made some and the joke runs through my head (going to get it very wrong I am afraid)…
Host: Welcome to my party! Can I interest you in a half dozen hard boiled eggs?
Guest: uhhhhhh, no thanks?
Host: What if I cut them in half, add in some mayo and some other stuff?
Guest: (busily stuffing face) Got any more?
Close lol, the original joke the host is like “and that’ll be $18”

I made the deviled eggs and I had to make 5 extra to satisfy myself long enough for them to last until the meal 😩
Just for once, I would like someone on Thanksgiving to make a big plate of deviled eggs for me and then another one for everyone else.
