Imagine: a six year old in the era of questioning everything, recognising that the term’s meaning is unbeknownst to them and deciding to ask their parent. The abject horror of a parent coming face-to-face with the slightly awkward dilemma of blowing off the answer, lying or telling the truth. Because that is literally the worst that can happen if a child sees a word they don’t know the meaning to. These weak-chinned traditional folk seem to think that the very sight of an uncensored word like ‘fisting’ will magically unlock a portal of knowledge, imbuing the child with a graphic understanding of it.

There’s a reason hundreds of childrens’ entertainment shows and movies have adult jokes in them - no child ever watches Shrek and gets the pop-culture joke about Farquaad having a small dick.

There’s a serious issue with Not Safe For Work tags being used to mean Not Safe For Children but that’s another argument entirely
