I hope Kenvue (which used to be the consumer healthcare division of Johnson & Johnson) brings down an army of lawyers on these chucklefucks for the bullshit they’re spewing. … because I said so. Stupidity may be a defense if the standard being applied requires knowledge that the statements in question are likely to cause damage to another. If those statements are true, no problem, that’s a complete defense. If they’re not, the lawyers get to duke it out in court.
Most often, that won’t come into play though since a lot of states assume that the person making the false statements does so with the requisite guilty state of mind. It’s not universal though which is why the non-stick dick might get away with this too.
