I’m pretty sure you’re wrong, but not certain. It looks to me like she’s on an opium bed. Opium was pretty common back in the day. She’s probably just in bliss out of her mind on opium.
The opium bed makes more sense actually. I also look like that when I’m high on the couch with my cat.
She has too much facial expression to be dead, IMO.
