You’re totally correct! But I think this is like “cleaning dirt off motherboards using destilled water” where arguing with those who don’t know is pointless.
As i have not driven anything past 2010 i can only tell you that those didnt care, but you are probably creating more wear on the synchros. Espescially if you arent proficent in rev matching.
Anything i have driven was verry happy with gear leaving, but less so with getting in.
I probably get home without clutch and then it dosent really matter if i have to replace the clutch and the synchros :)
That one with the clutch is definitely a shitpost lol
But the others… must be hard to pee with that.
It probably is, but technical the clutch is only required for getting the initial gear in. And even that can be ignored on some Cars.
