      I would argue that the latest was 6 years ago and ongoing, when people elected Zelensky to end the civil war and curb corruption but instead got war escalation, ending the elections, outlawing of opposition, mass kidnappings, corruption increase, destruction of labour laws and selling everything to the worst western vampires like Blackrock.

      Ukraine got 4 coups in last 4 decades, all to keep them as US pawn and hostile to Russia.

        I wouldn’t call an elected official becoming a war-time dictator a “coup” really.

          It kinda is within the spirit imo because while the means he did that were theoretically legal, practical abolishing of even bourgeois democracy without at least binding referendum is a coup. And that even before we get to how much treason is falsely presenting his programme (which again is normal or rather normalised in modern bourgeois states, but in older forms of democracy it was often considered straight up crime worthy of usually exile).
