“Anti-Semites are opposed to Israel, so being opposed to Israel is legitimizing anti-Semites.”

This is how you sound right now.

Do you think Ilhan Omar, Rashida Talib, Al Green and Summer Lee were incorrect in their vote?

sure, something about a broken clock right twice a day. But progressive members of the democrats voted with MTG’s amendment because no one should be arming a genocidal state during a genocidal campaign to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian people. You care more about optics of not wanting to ‘hand it to MTG’ over the real experience of Palestinians?

And only just a few democrats voted with MTG here.

This just shows you how pathetic the democrats, except a few members are.

Shame on AOC for voting against this during a genocidal campaign. Absolute shame. She has a lot of explaining to do for her so-called ‘progressive’ credentials.

This is less about endorsing MTG and more about the 429 members of Congress who voted in favor of supplying missiles to Israel.

I didn’t ask you to. I think AOC voted wrong. I asked about Talib et al.

Do you think Talib was incorrect in her vote? Do you think her voting to defund Israel was wrong?

Years ago the democrats (and obviously the republicans) have shown how vile they are against Palestinians.

It’s time the left starts punishing politicians for sending weapons to a literal genocide instead of worrying about optics.

      EDIT: That was rude, sorry.

This is a bad take. Openly siding with a genocide is worse than taking sides against the genocide, even when mtg is the one who suggested taking their missiles away.

This debate trap i didn’t want to have and that everyone’s trying to push towards. Nobody is siding with genocide.

And let’s be honest, mtg is a genicider herself
