All decent people should get off X and let it continue to fester. The people who continue to use it despite claiming to be against everything it and Musk stand for are a part of the problem.

The problem is, it’ll take forever to die. Just like Facebook. Most of the people who are aware, or even care about these kinds of problems are a small slice of the user base. Most will never hear about it because they don’t give a shit

I’m “on” Facebook - but barely. I have to be though as it’s the only way to reliably contact some relatives overseas.

It doesn’t bother me though, maybe I have target ads on there, but I can’t see them, and they never get to load as I rarely open the platform until I need it.

As is the social media site. This is the kind of shit he bought it for and it someone made a film full of trans people saying “yep I feel much better now”, there isn’t a chance in hell he’d let them run these kinds of ads for it.

There was a simpler time when anti-trans meant you opposed both autobots and decepticons.

An ad for a film is the best a technology community can think of to post? Why is this here?

One of the biggest social media sites promoting what is basically just anti-trans propaganda is a pretty big deal

What part of that is technology other than it being on a website; one of the most common and mundane things in the modern day.

What is the purpose of your questioning of the common sense in question?

Like, you are technically correct. This news is not about technology per se, but about content on some technology.

What i can’t really grasp from your comments is, if you’re genuinely bothered that the post isn’t hard tech talk or if you’re actually coming from a “this idiots here all pro-trans” place …

It’s common sense to post things about the most mundane technology to a technology community? What new tech was used? What new use for an old tech was used? What neat technological innovation was there?

I’m with you. This community is watered down and rarely contains anything a techno geek would appreciate.
