I used to work with public safety IT, from keeping 911 dispatch working all the way down to fixing squad car laptops. I have personally been on multiple sides of this issue from perspectives most don’t have.

The US prison system is literal slavery, expressly allowed to be so by the US constitution. It needs to be abolished.
Which part of it? I said a couple of things there. Surely you don’t disagree about the US constitution expressly permitting slavery and the US prison system largely being exactly that?
Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
As someone with almost literally an actual bag of silicone dicks (seriously I just need to transfer them from individual bags into a larger communal bag), I’d say it’s quite a bit worse than that.
