I was recently there and our tour guide kept talking about this awful piece of art and how it ruins the old houses, so on and so on, then I went to check it out for myself and found it wonderful.
It’s playful and intricate to me, but I guess the locals don’t like it!
I could see how if seen from the wrong perspective it could just look like a mess. And being a local they may not walk through that exact point when getting from point a to b.

I think I’d love it if it was a different color but as it is, it kinda looks like duct tape to me and I don’t care for it
A color similar to the existing stone would be cool. From an off-angle you might not even notice it but you’d still see it from the right place
