I’d say that’s a win. Gyno appts are important!

Surely we have one gyno on Lemmy to chime in with a charming story we will be referencing for months?
The googly eye is the only important part.
Have y’all seen the clip where a reporter at alligator aushwitz asks him how long detainees will be held there, and he doesn’t understand the question, gets it repeated, and then still doesn’t understand so starts rambling about how much he loves Florida and will be there as long as he can. He also takes the opportunity to say the oval office wasn’t well cared for, but he’s cleaned up and made it a “beautiful diamond”.
That does nothing to help anyone hurt by the actions.
Only three of these look like ass succulents to me
I would prefer that as a community, we acknowledge the existence of this bias in healthcare data, and also acknowledge how harmful that bias is while using adequate resources to remedy the known issues.
There is a more specific word for it: Institutional racism.
Institutional racism, also known as systemic racism, is a form of institutional discrimination based on race or ethnic group and can include policies and practices that exist throughout a whole society or organization that result in and support a continued unfair advantage to some people and unfair or harmful treatment of others. It manifests as discrimination in areas such as criminal justice, employment, housing, healthcare, education and political representation.[1]

Why is there a lack of robust training data across skin colors? Could it be that people with darker skin colors have less access to cutting edge medical care and research studies? Would be pretty racist.
There is a similar bias in medical literature for genders. Many studies only consider males. That is sexist.
My thought as well.
I get it, but I’m not sure that “something is better than nothing” in this case. I don’t judge any individual for using it, but the risks are huge, as others have documented. And the benefits are questionable.
Idk. He said his wife still demands sunscreen for their children, so I’ll let him fry himself in peace.
I have a running list of shit I’ve heard from this guy. I’m positive it’s something from Alex Jones or similar.
I am aware of this, and believe it is real. However this wasn’t even his argument.
So let me tell y’all about the crazies I work with. I burn easily, and there is very little shade, so I store sunscreen everywhere. My desk, the bathroom, my bag, the car, the office supply closet, etc. I often use it and offer to my colleagues when anyone needs to go out for a while.
We got a new guy on the team, he’s going out, I suggest he take some sunscreen. He tells me that sunscreen is poison and that you don’t really need it as long as you don’t wear sunglasses. He tells me that it’s wearing sunglasses that actually causes you to burn because your eyes don’t get as much sun so your brain doesn’t send the right chemicals out to protect your skin.
Lotion is good for the first coat, but the spray is so much easier to apply when you’re already sweaty and sand is everywhere.
Is that a hairy butt pasted over the decolletage?
Can I get an updated signal invite?
