You know you can go to China yourself and verify that’s false.
You’ve heard of no true Scotsman, well that’s compared to me, the only true Scotsman. Everything I am is all things that are forever and not, therefore the fallacy isn’t.
You know you can go to China yourself and verify that’s false.
What part of uighur culture was erased, exactly, by funding schools, arresting foreign violent religious extremists, and building affordable housing?
Are you saying uighurs are all violent, uneducated, homeless people and should remain that way due to their culture?
Just a reminder before you do the next state dept line, there are more mosques in every major Chinese city than there are in the state of New York.
They still do, if the rest of the original treaty is upheld.
Yeah the reason is primarily corruption. There’s a reason so many Americans specifically related to the state dept either quit their jobs and took up in Ukrainian companies, or directly started investing in Ukraine in the lead up to 2014 and the eventually coup that lead to zelensky being in power. Ukraine isn’t special. It holds no real significance for a US company or investment firm based on its laws or government. But cheap mineral rights and a complete lack of environmental regulation thanks to a captured government? That’s just easy money that also denies a self made US enemy that easy money. And all for the price of the Ukrainian population.
Yeah Stalin still had issues and it was awful that the working theory at the time was homosexuality was a result of western decadence since literally all the rich people they found were doing weird sex stuff and Germany and the US killed all the gay communists and socialists they could and burned their books so there was no real example they could find of any ‘deviance’ being innate.
That all being said towards the end the crack down wire off and five years labor is still better than what any other country at the time did to cure the gays.
Yeah that’s the unsupported US state dept propaganda I was mainly talking about.
We know what genocide in the 21st century under an authoritarian regime that has complete and total control over the flow of information looks like, thanks to Israel. The Palestinian genocide is the most well documented genocide in history, despite Israel entirely controlling the access to technology, press, and internet, with a tighter grip than China.
Uighurs aren’t under going a genocide. You can visit Xinjiang right now, without a tour guide. You can bring whatever tech you want and post whatever you want.
Was China harsh in their initial crackdown of allegedly radicalized elements among the poverty stricken population 20 years ago when 9/11 was still fresh in everyone’s minds and the US government was invading a half dozen countries causing terror groups to flee to other countries and start cells there? Sure.
But fewer people of uighur descent were killed or imprisoned over the last 50 years in China, per capita or by total number, than black people were by the us last year.
If that’s the basis for genocide, then boyo every country on the planet has committed genocide and is committing genocide.
As long as you don’t blindly repeat things from the US state dept without any critical thoughts you’re fine. Look into things before you say them, China has plenty of issues, pick a real one.
Good news, five companies globally own all of the food you will likely find to eat. (Us/EU/former and current colonies of those two), unless you’re growing your own heirloom varietals.
Sorry not good news, the other thing.
Because Israel is the only country ISIS has apologized to, and Syrian rebels are lead by former ISIS leaders.
I blame them for protecting their IP like a old white person protects their property value by shooting at any black person that moves into the neighborhood.
If they’re smart, they will. If they’re not smart they will need to hope they can afford to give their security team better health insurance than they themselves offer, otherwise we will see repeats of the reason you’re personally allowed to be outside of your company owned work house.
Self defense is also applied when defending others. It’s nice to think someday we might be above violent reaction to violent action. But until there’s an alternative, we’re not, and we shouldn’t be.
Truly up to you, but Walmarts get stolen from all the time, repeatedly, for years by the same people. Don’t fuck with target though.
I know the Walton’s at this point are stupidly wealthy and don’t often go into public, but this seems like an incredibly arrogant announcement given the recent news.
Remember kids, you don’t have to show your receipt at the door, most the cameras are fake, and if you take some extra bags from self check out and sneak them in next time literally no one will notice.
Let’s not forget who broke their treaty precipitating the attack.
Just a reminder, if you think what happened on DDD Day was murder and not self defense, you don’t have a problem with violence, you just hate when poor people do it.
Why? They violated the previous treaty not Russia.
No one can ever guarantee anything, but Russia wouldn’t fuck with them if there’s an actual deal and they abide by it instead of violating it.
Except it’s new money that’s made up, and in the case of student loans, most of that money isn’t traded for goods and services, instead more than 3/4s of the money created goes back to the lender.
You can get married to whomever you like in China, you just don’t get the tax break. And yeah, that sucks they’re a decade behind the US on that one subject, tax breaks for gay couples, while being a century ahead in other subjects.
