I compile the source code: git clone, cd mldonkey, ./configure, make, make install

Tor relay (guard/middle or bridge/snowflake) and i2p node (i2p, i2p+ or i2pd)
Maybe you could try ed2k/kad (emule/amule/mldonkey), soulseek or dc++ networks. Just drop the files in the sharing folders and seed. My preference is ed2k/kad.
You could try on ed2k/kad network (emule/amule/mldonkey)
I just use jerboa
Tor bridge/relay and i2p node
I recommend you to use ed2k/kad networks. You just have to start the client (emule, aMule or mldonkey) and share the folders. The first time you will need a server.met file, which contains the servers, the ipfilter.dat and also nodes.dat for the kad network.
I just use jerboa it’s foss.
You could use i2p for bittorrent, it is free, slower but secure.
I would say debian but as others said, are you on hopping distros? Do you have any problem with fedora 39?
I was running in the past years 2 guard/middle relays, now I prefer only bridges and snowflake, to help users in a countries with censorship, like Iran or turkmenistan.
Better, because it is free and secure. And at same time you are torrenting, you are helping the network. But a downside, it is the speed and amount of peers you find is less compared to the clearnet. Also it is not the best option to surf the clearnet, tor is better at this.
Yes. It is better to use i2p for bittorrent. Now qbittorrent it is compatible.
I use duckduckgo. It is Bing but with more privacy. You could try also searx, swisscows, startpage or qwant
