Alright, you had me convinced until the sentence “the writing is sub Bethesda”.
Yeah…no.

I don’t blame you for taking that decision. But it’s sad that this will deter legitimate users away, some of whom would’ve signed up otherwise.
Most startups are funded by large / rich investors though. It’s only when they get public do they get funding from society in general. But by that stage they are no longer a startup.
Does anyone know if its illegal for me to login to my friends account and buy the game for him because I live in a region that’s cheaper?
That’s an extremely narrow view point I’d say. In my country the government promotes the growth of existing big corporations so that there can be more jobs and infrastructure development - but this has in the end lead to a widening of gap and has essentially only made the rich even richer.
I genuinely believe promoting start ups is better for the middle class than big corporations, as usually startups pay a crazy amount of money if you ask for it compared to what a big rich corpo would give you (ironically).
Actually they tried the normal way, where they didn’t shoot and asked the poachers to surrender / tried to arrest them. But the rangers would get shot and the animals would continue to get poached.
Seeing this as a problem, a new executive order / law was passed allowing shoot at sight orders at national parks / protected zones.
Poaching has reduced, the number of rangers getting shot has reduced. The number of poachers getting shot has reduced (they don’t wanna fuck around anymore).
Overall it has increased peace.
The amount of communists in this thread is simply astonishing. I thought we had accepted the concept of property rights. Why even stop at immovable property and not movable?
