I’m running a RPI4 with LibreELEC + Kodi.
YouTube runs better than the official app, at least for my needs.
LibreELEC + Kodi works out of the box with the TV Remote. And you can use Kore (android app) to get a full keyboard.

I’ll have to look in to that.
I’ve found this at avp.fandom:
The Engineers from Planet 4 as seen in Alien: Covenant, however, appeared more primitive and slightly different in appearance from those the crew of the USCSS Prometheus encountered on LV-223, having eyes more closely resembling those of humans, far more variance in body shape and appear to vary in height as well, compared to the universally tall and muscular Engineers seen in Prometheus, although the clothes they wore bear a striking resemblance to those worn by the sacrificial Engineer from Prometheus. Based on a cut scene from Prometheus, as well as their voices as heard during David’s genocide on Planet 4, their voices appear similarly human-like, although seemingly lower in pitch.
So let’s say that indeed it is the engineers home world, what’s your guess has for the Covenant and Prometheus engineers not looking the same?
Yes, Shaw said that. But only David knew how to read and operate the ship controls, he could go anywhere that the engineers had in the database. David can’t be trusted has we see in both movies, and in Covenant he’s is own boss.
I don’t believe Alien: Covenant takes place at the engineers home world. If you compare the engineers from Prometheus with the inhabitants from Covenant, they don’t look the same. They look more as another “experiment” like the humans.
It’s pretty clear Disney had no fucking clue what they were doing with Star Wars after they acquired it.
One might argue that they still don’t have a clue.
Just to add that it was the worst performer because the tester made some mistake when doing said markdown test. When he corrected the test it was nowhere near the worst, but it was already to late.
Some people (tester included) tried to reason with the dev, but to no avail. I think he was scared because he was using his real name in github, and didn’t want to have bad code in his résumé or something like that.
IMHO, the dev overreacted. But it’s his project so it’s is decision.
Some people forked the project before it went down, so maybe we can see a comeback in the future.
Never touched heroic launcher so can’t really help you there. Normally I just use Lutris, works without fail every time.

Can you change the runner in heroic launcher? Like proton instead of wine?
Try openSUSE tumbleweed in a VM if plasma is your thing. IMHO is one of the best plasma implementations I’ve tried.
I’ve been using it for a year now, does everything I need. No problems whatsoever in gaming.
The only thing I had to do, was enable a extra repo in YAST for installing the codecs to be able to play movies and such.
Well, if they just stick to adapting the books (and to my knowledge the story is finished) I’m OK with it. With GoT the problem was mostly when the source material was over, till then they did a good job adapting the story.
I’m using a rpi4 model B 4GB.
Works pretty well for my needs. At least until now I don’t feel like it’s underpowered.
It plays 4K video from my main PC with no problems or stuttering. But I mainly use it for 1080p.
I had xbmc like a decade ago, before I gave up on the aye matey lifestyle
Same thing here.
I was just assuming it was some other hardware solution
Yeah I though so. LibreELEC is a Linux distro with just enough OS to run kodi.
I’m using pi+libreelec+kodi.
Why kodi over plex? No special reasons, kodi does everything I need and with the addons support it gives me a lot of options(torrents+streaming).
Have been using kodi since it was called xbmc in the OG xbox modding scene. Never used Plex, so I just went with what I knew.
I did the same thing but went with LibreELEC+Kodi. And it even works with the TV remote.
In linux I just use Kid3.
No answer yet. I have never filled a bug to suse, so I don’t know if I’m missing something.
This is the link to the bug, if anyone wants to add anything.
Yes, it happens when the screen tries to go to sleep or when you use the keyboard shortcut to turn it off.
If it happens in X11 just disabled KScreen 2 in Background Services.
I’ve filled a bug at suse. Let’s see what they say.
I use the TV remote control for the basic stuff. If I need to type something longer or more options, than I switch to Kore (official Kodi remote by the same developers). You just need the phone to be in the same network.
Never felt the need to connect keyboard+mouse.
