6 hours agoStart with TOS and if you find it too hard to watch start with TNG and if you find the first bit of TNG too hard to watch you can skip ahead of you really want to I guess, but I find it all worth watching.

I use bitwig and davinci and they work great. not sure what you mean by “applications that aren’t complete janky shit.” there are a ton of applications available on linux, both paid and free, and their quality varies as much as anywhere else.

the way things are, things have to be completely unusable for the average user to care. people are still on reddit and twitter and facebook after all.

You are fine. They are just two different types of storage devices. The names are the way they interface with the motherboard. Since there is nothing on the laptop, you have nothing to lose by experimenting. I would choose the pcie drive. It should be faster, and it has more space on it.
