It’s ok, I already forgotten a few years ago.
…only to lose the subsequent war 10 years down the road but never admit they lost because they only withdrew their army since the country is safe again (AKA they already taken as much oil as they possibly can so they are no longer interested in waging a war).

Ridge Racer. I don think I have ever put that much hours in another arcade racing game.
This is a really fun game actually.
Ok, until I saw the integrated joystick I thought: " ok, so fart seat but purchasable"

So this is the last game I played in my early twenties, then a gaming hiatus of 15 years (studying, dating, work…) It was on a brand new PC I had put together for my design studies. Two things I remember perfectly: A) the atmosphere was incredible and scary B) when enemies showed it ran in stop motion. Sadly I had to put my money towards more memory and better monitor and the GPU wasn’t as necessary to me at the moment.

That’s when I was enjoying life.
Hopefully “closely” doesn’t mean additional launcher, paid cosmetics and such.
