Yeah, I mean I barely understand this federated stuff. To my understanding, each instance has their own rules. I can’t post nudes on my Lemmy.ca to my understanding. I think if there’s an instance that is running “afoul” then the instance I connect with can block the entire instance?
61·7 days agoIt’s also because the rest of the people in charge (mainly Republicans) aren’t doing anything to stop them. It also has to do with Americans being largely stupid.
Most republicans aren’t going to do anything because if they go against Trump … Trump will skewer them and they’ll lose their seat because their voters are stupid too.

I’ve had one friend say because it’s electronic that only Tesla can fix certain things? Maybe I misunderstood maybe they meant that because it’s under warranty where the dealership should be fixing it.
I’ve heard mixed stuff, like some people saying it’s plastic and stuff and only serviceable via Tesla if things go wrong?
Others I know have driven it for years and have been happy except the whole Musk shit which leads to your point. (excluding Cybertruck, I don’t know anyone that drives a Cybertruck).

I feel a lot of people do a lot to justify stupid behaviour. “Saving is too hard” or “exercise is too hard”. There’s legit reasons to not be able to save, or exercise or being able to vote 🤨.
However there’s a lot of bullshit that people were spouting. It’s either a coordinated campaign or just dumb shit. What annoys me is everyone piling on Joe and then they did what people wanted and swapped to Kamala and they’re still upset that the Dems “don’t listen”. Whatever, they’re all full of it.
I fucking hate the Democrats but you have to be completely psycho to justify not-voting for them.
To be clear, I’m Canadian and I’m directly impacted by this now. So fuck all of those people.

For those that don’t know … Bill Burr called out billionaires and warned them for the shit they were pulling (or to be “put down like rabid dogs”).
Elon “Free Speech” Musk basically restricted Bill’s Twitter account which Bill found funny because he hadn’t posted in months or years or something like that.
Bill also doesn’t hold back and will roast the shit out of anyone and is really good at it. Elon “Man of the People” Musk is a thin-skinned little bitch that is awkward as fuck but acts tough online like all his “alpha-male” friends like when he acted like a bitch when Don Lemon called him out and then Elon “I’m the smartest man alive” Musk fired Don Lemon for doing so 'cause he’s a bitch.

VSCode with VsVim or whatever plugin. It has the combination I like. Multi-cursor fills in most of the gaps I don’t like.
I’ve tried Neovim variants a few times. I usually get stuck at something and don’t have the time to figure it out. I need to take that time to learn everything and get it right but I get tired.

I have seen Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren doing protests and stuff.
It is a bit weird how the Republicans can prevent Scotus noms and stuff and the Dems just sit back. I think the Republicans know their base will always go for them and the dirtier the better. I think the Dems are too fragmented both in terms of how to please their voters and in terms of how to get stuff done.
