Ironically The Orville did that better by saying there are no prisons anymore in the Planetary Union.

Ah yeah socialism I guess is a less dirty word in those parts.
Where are you if I may ask? And I think it may have been a dictate of Gene Roddenberry to not name which economic system won out, which is kind of a copout. But yeah it’s refreshing to see it called what it is finally
And it just seems accurate, at least with definitions of socialism I’ve read and studied
Yeah I guess they took TOS’s “five year mission” statement a little too literally
I like SNW, so I hope its not cancelled.
I need to finally actually watch this show. I might as well use it as an excuse to get Netflix
I’m just hoping that this doesnt mean SNW will be cancelled like some of the other shows
The Survivors is one of my favorite TNG episodes so def agree there :D
I personally love the five races from one planet angle :P
The Xindi arc is my favorite part of ENT personally
No. I didnt enjoy Discovery yet I’ve enjoyed SNW. You dont need to know much on Discovery to get into SNW anyway.
For what its worth, I love Enterprise. I like it more than Discovery, for example.
Good choices. For ENT I’d say Dead Stop, because I just watched it for the first time in a decade and really liked it
Im not the biggest fan of Discovery but I’m curious how they would have made the Calypso plot the center of a season long arc
I actually think she was better than Dr Crusher.
I liked Archer, I’d rank him up there with Kirk and Picard. Then again I havent seen the series in a long time, just bought the Blu Rays of it so I guess Ill rewatch it soon and see if I still think this
