Avatar is a lemming in bed because this account wasn’t intended to be used except for creating communities… and then my instance announced it was closing.
That’s amazing. I can barely manage one!
When I first started working I did some temp work. One of my bosses asked me to look after her niece’s Tamagotchi. I’d not had one so didn’t have a clue what I was doing. Anyway, I killed it within a day.
Make sure your settings are the same. eg. There’s a “show bot accounts” and a “show NSFW” toggle (I think there might be a "hide read posts"too). It could even be as simple as your sort order being different.
Also www.bbcgoodfood.com is excellent.
It’s not really, but it’s the only content warning option on Lemmy, so that’s where we are.
That is ace!
Yes, the sweat keeps you cool and the smell attracts others with different immune system.
Why can’t a girl be a good role model for a boy?
(I’m not completely disagreeing with you btw - if all the boy leads are “stereotypical boy” then it’s just perpetrating the problem)
And if you dare question their masculinity by suggesting a woman might be able to do something other than be eye candy then they’ll… well I don’t know what they’ll do. Probably just complain about it on social media.
Ha ha, maybe a bug report for the Lemmy UI is in order?
In theory they all should - the read status is stored in your Lemmy account (provided the app is doing the appropriate API calls - if it isn’t, raise a bug report!)
Oh, that sucks. Surely they could have added the Wii-specific credits afterwards and kept the original video. I’ve seen that sort of thing done many times.
That’s interesting. I’ve only played the Wii version but I don’t recall anybody saying anything was missing at the time. In fact, using the Wiimote to do the paint strokes was hailed as an improvement (having not played the original, I can’t even envisage how doing the strokes with an analogue stick would work)
It doesn’t have an app, how is it buggy?
TIL that painkillers don’t work on redheads.
Mind blown.
Usually just remember stuff. I’m terrible at taking notes - I either forget to take any paper/pen or I don’t know what’s important and don’t make any notes.
If I get an action item I’ll write it down or stick it somewhere on my work phone. It probably won’t make much sense so I’ll need to remember what it was about anyway - it just serves as a reminder that I need to do something.
At my first job somebody showed me a system that I needed to use, step by step, for a task that I needed to do to cover them the next week. I took no notes (didn’t even occur to me), she was surprised that I took no notes, but I remembered it all and did the task.
I’m not sure my memory is quite good enough to trust these days, but back then it worked fine.
Bookwyrm if you want something Fediverse.
Storygraph I think is the other popular one (I’ve not used it)
A Raspberry Pi. Literally designed for this sort of thing.
