Paracetamol, the active ingredient of Tylenol was first created in 1887. That doesn’t change that linking autism to Tylenol or Paracetamol is plain stupid and lacks any scientific foundation.

Because they are part of the European Broadcast Union (EBU), just like other non-European countries including Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Georgia. That said, just like Russia, their membership should be suspended.
I’m completely fine with non-European countries participating. Australia (the one with the kangaroos) isn’t even an EBU member, but has been participating in the Eurovision for the last ten years and I think it’s great to see the world grow closer like that.
I wouldn’t say it’s bad for democracy. If anything, it reveals how damaged democracy already is in the US. At face value this isn’t any worse than students being murdered in school shootings or (democrat) politicians being murdered. Don’t get me wrong, that’s all terrible but reacting only to this event reveals that the MAGAs were only waiting for any excuse to do whatever they’re going to do now.
I wouldn’t say he was murdered. He considered himself to be a culture warrior and when a warrior falls in battle, even if it’s a most pointless battle standing on the wrong side of history, it’s generally not considered murder.
Didn’t some AAA studios complain that Baldur’s Gate is “only” 60€ and too high quality, so it sets unrealistic standards/expectations.
That’s fairly simple: we restrict the complex phase to the range (-pi, pi] and the principal square root halves the complex phase. -1 has the phase value pi, so the principal square root has the the complex phase pi/2, so it’s i, while -i has a phase of -pi/2
This is technically incorrect. While the square root is both the positive and the negative solution, the sqrt (√) operator results in the principal square root. For nonnegative numbers this is the nonnegative square root and more generalised for complex numbers it’s the square root that halves the complex phase.
Now I am confused. How is engineering disjunct from science? And even beyond that, there is astronomy involved (star map, eurion being based on Orion), which has something to do with science.
The eurion constellation is a security feature used on many banknotes. It’s made up from 5 circles and often integrated into larger patterns that make it less obvious. Printers identify it and reject to print money.
From that chart Qobuz seems to be the all round best deal. Is there any catch?
The limit was 140 characters which is also the reason why twitter originally had a 140 character limit: you were able to tweet by SMS
Yes, because just because you bought a book you don’t own its content. You’re not allowed to print and/or sell additional copies or publicly post the entire text. Generally it’s difficult to say where the limit is of what’s allowed. Citing a single sentence in a public posting is most likely fine, citing an entire paragraph is probably fine, too, but an entire chapter would probably be pushing it too far. And when in doubt a judge must decide how far you can go before infringing copyright. There are good arguments to be made that just buying a book doesn’t grant the right to train commercial AI models with it.
Yeah but 2012 is like 5 years ago, right? Right?
If pre-orders ever made sense, it was when you still needed a physical cartridge or disc and the game wouldn’t get patches anyways. But those days are long gone.
Yeah, if your knees are fucked up at 30, you’re probably an athlete and injured your knees multiple times, or obese and overloaded them with too much weight.
That’s also part of the reason why IQ scores are deeply flawed. Using a single number to measure intelligence implies there is an absolute order.
Fun fact: Richard Feynman, one of the greatest physicist of the 20th century and legendary physics educator (author of the Feynman Lectures), was invited to join Mensa after he won the Nobel Prize in physics. He declined however, because he didn’t meet the IQ score of 130 normally required by Mensa.
Yes and no, the main factor are bubbles. Even for the most asshole opinions you can probably find the right bubble where you aren’t shunned for it but get affirming reactions. Algorithms do significantly ease the formation of bubbles but are ultimately not required for it
He should just jump into the sea and start living with other gay fish
Only a matter of time until he declares himself Holy Roman Emperor. And silly me was under the impression, he’s trying to emulate an entirely different era of German history.
Is this even legal in the EU? The majority of phones in the EU are Android phones so this effectively gives Google control over what apps can be installed to the majority of phones. I thought the Digital Markets Act was designed to prevent exactly this.
