Police probably asked for the camera footage and if McDonald’s employees didn’t comply, in sure they would’ve faced certain repercussions.
I can imagine the employee receiving threats from his employer and from police if they didn’t cooperate. We shouldn’t blame them.
Bitch please. That’s how unions got shit done. The boss made threats? Cops come to beat up and shoot at striking workers? Then the workers show up at the boss’ house and burn it down or beat the crap our of him. That’s how it used to be done.

That path doesn’t even exist. I don’t have the wireplumber subdirectory.
I’m gonna check with Pulseaudio if there are any known bugs. I wasn’t sure where to start looking but this thread has given me some good hints, thanks to people like you. :)

I checked my packages list and pipewire seems to be installed. I’m old school so I’m not up to date on the latest changes in that regartd. I’ll have to check how pipewire works with Ubuntu/Kubuntu.
I have an NVidia RTX 3070. Does that change anything?

No the cops had a description of the guy. They did an investigation after the murder. They probably went around all the nearby businesses that were opened at that time and requested video surveillance footage. They probably also questioned the employees with pictures of the guy and either they had to comply or didn’t know who they were talking about. Who knows.
