Anything else doing?
Oh gosh I’ve tried Duolingo so many times over the years and never gotten far. I’m impressed with people who keep it up.
That’s cool. How was your day otherwise?
That’s one of the ways you can enjoy yourself. There are others but calling them ‘better’ than that is just ignorant.
I’ve heard this called the ‘dirty 30’. It works. Whatever needs cleaning up or tidying, 30 minutes is just short enough to not feel like you’re using all your free time on chores, but long enough to make a real dent. Especially if your partner either helps with the same task or does a different one. Setting a timer can help and you start to almost frantically see how much you can get done. I like that competitive element even against myself.

Overworked janitor who wanted to reduce the number of bathrooms they had to clean
Were they doing the work they were meant to do during work hours?
Working remotely shouldn’t be treated as a privilege.
Genuine question, did it really matter whether he was in his normal house or holiday home? Unless it was a timezone issue or something?
When he logs out the NPCs around him only then realise they might be NPCs and start freaking out, hoping that they too can log out. Because if they can’t then they’re not real…
Oh I just get those as part of my sleep paralysis.
Eh for me it’s about 60hrs. They’re minor hallucinations at that point and you’re still lucid enough to understand that they’re not real. But it just further cements that you’re being tortured by your own body. I see things in my peripheral vision, mostly. Things crawling on the floor, liquid running down the walls, faces are distorted until I look at them front on. It’s not a good time.
The way I try to approach these threads is to try and pretend there’s a bunch of people sitting around having a conversation.
If you’re familiar with the dynamic, and you emulate it here, you might enjoy yourself more. Or you could do this I suppose?
Each to their own.
