The last straw was them forcing copilot on my windows 10 install, but a lot of other things were bugging me way too much before I kicked the bucket. Thankfully I have the help of a friend that uses Linux daily and my boyfriend who just knows a fuckton about computers, but after finishing the initial setup I haven’t really had any issues

I had a class about bio processes and one of them was about production of cheese and during the class both our professor and the scientist that was walking us through the chemistry of cheese making were constantly talking how pasteurization was really good for us all and how annoying it was that it made cheese making more difficult because of the way it messed with casein and other proteins, making it so that the cheese wouldn’t “coagulate” correctly (they used a specific term that I cannot remember for the life of me, sorry) but that was all. A protein being bent up a bit doesn’t negatively affect the milk of where just drinking it or using it to bake, Ave even for cheese making there are tequiniques to still make it into cheese with pasteurized milk.

I wonder why Bernie and other progressives don’t band together and announce their own party. With enough big names (especially Bernie) they could gather enough attention to be a viable third party that actually represents progressive and more left leaning ideas than the democrats. I actually use it to open the start menu for a few reasons. Usually I do it to the press tab and the down arrow 5 times then enter twice, why? Because that puts your selector thingy on the sleep option as my keyboard doesn’t have a sleep key. The other reason is I can just start typing some program’s name and launch it without using my mouse. I don’t do it all the time since most programs I need to use the mouse to keep using anyway, but sometimes I just want a calculator or notepad++ and the search function works well enough for those

My first one that I still use is my Hotmail account, but now it’s just my spam email, but still randomly have to use it to get some login codes and stuff

The fact that I can go to one website and have a pretty much parity perfect and functioning photoshop for free, go to another and play online multiplayer games and then just go to a social webpage, forums and so much more in the same place is mind blowing when you think of how different these things are and how it all works flawlessly in the same program

Oh that’s def true, but at the same time a lot of people that do have time or can just make time for making friends or nurturing the ones they already have just don’t because they’re stuck in this mentality of rushing straight into meeting their next partner by chance instead, but it is really true that the people that can’t sadly don’t have an alternative

What happened with me was I made a great friend and we decided to start dating years after we’ve met and known each other. I have no experience with dating apps and stuff like that were you meet a stranger to them immediately try to have such a close relationship, never really understood how that could work (maybe my autism speaking there tbh) but it just feels so backwards, isn’t it better to start with a friendship, with no intent on starting a relationship but going there once we find out that it’s somewhere we both want to progress to. Maybe this craze for quickly starting a relationship with a total stranger is a product from romance novels and the lack of free time of our current culture? I don’t know but I know I love my boyfriend very much and we started as just boy friends.
