“I signed up to kill brown people in the middle east, not this”
It depends. Do you want to play witch 2 exclusives and don’t have a pc? Then switch 2, you don’t have an option there.
Do you want to play 3rd party games or nintendo preswitch (and actually some switch games too)? Deck, the games will be cheaper, you can buy bundles, you won’t have to pay for online, you can install from steam, gog, epic, etc. It’s a pc.
As you already have a switch, I’d wait on the 2 if you don’t need to play MK World right now. If you wish you could play PC and older console games on the go get a deck (I did and it’s great) but if you don’t care much about the PC backlog you can just wait until the 2 has some more exclusives our and/or you cand find it cheaper. I’m currently revisiting some PS2 games alongside newer indie titles and it’s very cool.
I mean, the left has communities, but as soon a s they begin organising .worlders call them tankies.
Eh, I don’t know. I’ve worked developing software for the administration and their computer use is just the applications (web or native) they had built to perform their tasks. The OS is very irrelevant to them, some orgs even had shortcuts to these native programs put in their intranet, back in the days of java applets.
Can’t you just make them turn off the computers/phones and do it by hand?
It honestly should have had another 2 years in the oven to make the lore and universe more interesting.
I don’t know, I don’t think it would have changed anything. They might have had an interesting quest or two more, but their writing philosophy of not keeping track of anything and working in isolation would not have made a decent, coherent lore in even 10 extra years, just more unconnected shit with extra tonal dissonance.
Nah, not really, it’s only shit if you only play AAA suit-driven slop. There’s a ton of awesome games being released and the older ones are still there to (re) play.
Everyone should get out now because Plex has started to ruin things and you should seek alternatives now, while you have time, and not wait until they finish shitting the bed.
And no, jellyfin won’t do anything like this because they don’t have control over how you use it and don’t force their cloud on you.
Lol not a chance. Maybe there’s been some work in the public sector, but remove Amazon and MS and you’ll remove the vast majority of companies.
The EU should push for their own cloud and “encourage” (ie “there’s a chance that in 5 years you won’t be able to use anything that’s not in the EU, better prepare”) companies and the public administration to migrate.
That’s why they want Greenland.
Most of these are not really a problem though, even less for the kind of psychos that run the EU. Sanctions can be lifted, and Ukraine shouldn’t be able to do much against both Russia and the EU. While renewables and nuclear are increasing, Russian energy could help until they are 100% ready. Voters won’t do much if they are told “see, the US is trying to scam us, and in these trying times we’ve struck a deal with Russia and you’ll be paying less for power and heat”.
The problem with striking a deal with Russia is that it’s not the most reliable partner right now (your 3rd point), but the people in charge can ignore the rest and have no problems sleeping.
Edit: this is not a defense of Russia but a critique of the powers that be in the EU.
Yes. I love the cold, lack of sweat, comfy clothes and being cozy at home while it’s cold outside.
I dislike that hanging clothes tomdry takes forever unless it’s an exceptionally dry day.
Nah, his shittiness goes way back. We shouldn’t accept anything less than seppuku.
The Steam Deck is… not significantly cheaper?
Maybe, but I already have a large game library and free online play, and can get new games for much cheaper.
And you can play online for free.
the loss of the free/cheap third spaces, lockdowns, and social media
I think that the growing push towards individualism and the dismantling of any kind of reciprocal relationship network are the main cause of this. I feel like years ago people could form sincere bonds and relationships but now everything is as atomised as possible and sincere interactions have been replaced with ironic performances to try to maintain as much distance as possible, even if unconsciously.
This obviously is great for the rich and powerful, so it’s encouraged in media, pop culture, workplace regulations and organization, etc.
Op cant because he’s using 2 different filesystems
Yup, that’s why people who can afford it should do ate to the jellyfin project
I’ve never had a problem with it in Spain. What is different where you live? CGNAT?
My usual place is 250m from my home, or around 3 minutes walking. There’s like another 5 supermarkets, 5 bakeries, 4 greengrocers and 3 butchers about 500 meters away (off the top of my head, there could be more).
