They’re in the same business. They have to believe that what they are doing is advancing access to care by making sure the companies are solvent. It doesn’t matter what the truth is. To quote George Constanza- “It’s not a lie if you believe it”

His wife is a physical therapist so she has an intimate understanding of the health care system. I’m sure it’s turning a blind eye. The article I read described their home as a $1.5 million home in an exclusive Minneapolis suburb. She knew. Cognitive dissonance can be very powerful.
Of course he is. It’ll only happen if he’s of some value to Trump. Everything with Donald Trump is transctional.
Being honest and a hard worker could be used to describe a hit man. Working hard at something unethical isn’t a virtue.
That’s what I’ve suspected all along.
I was reading an article that quoted his wife about what a great guy he was. It reminded me of Ken Lay’s wife talking about her families liquidity problems after the Enron collapse. Hundreds of employees lost everything and she’s griping about liquidity.
How long before they’re on prison being used as slave labor?
This is very true I live in red area of a red state and a common theme is a Democrat leader is immediately blamed for all problems upon taking office yet when it’s a Republican “you have to give them time to fix the problems”. I wouldn’t be surprised if Republicans are still blaming Democrats for problems at the midterm elections.
I see this being a common theme over the next year. Trump supporters shocked when policy changes impact them negatively.
I agree that manned space programs are unnecessary and unmanned should be very limited. Starlink shouldn’t have been allowed. Unfortunately the US government let telecoms off the hook when it came to serving rural areas.
That’s because tech peaked a while back. Tech news is basically about the next hustle to keep the funding coming in while producing nothing truly useful.
I’m fully remote now but when I was in the office it was only 3 miles from my house. Many days lunch was a quick bite, 20 minute power nap, and head back to the office.
Not only does it cause compliance it creates a perfect setup for exploitation, extortion, and trafficking.
I’m guessing the reason they didn’t want to say who they voted for is cognitive dissonance.
I use it for the same reasons as you and I also follow local news outlets and local government since Twitter went to crap. I follow a few special interest groups but political posts, probably by bots is making most of these groups unusable. I couldn’t care less about the content. I go to other platforms for that
I’ll read the article if it’s not behind a paywall. I often don’t finish them because most articles are poorly written.
Best summary I’ve read.
I never tweeted myself but I liked to follow a couple of local news outlets and out local government agencies for public notices and emergencies. I gave up when stuff from Elon and a bunch of right wing stuff populated my feed. I rarely saw anything of interest. I started using Facebook for that. At least the local stuff pops up in addition to the crazy stuff.
I look for Trump to turn on everyone. It’s the only thing he’s consistently done his entire life.
I’m so sick of this timeline. I can’t believe this isn’t an Onion article.
